The end is past. Registration for SIDLIT 2009 has closed. If you have registered but not built your "My Schedule" please at least use the tool to indicate the luncheons you plan to attend. Lunch tickets will be required and you reserve your "meal" by using the "My Schedule" tool to indidate you plan to attend Thursday and/or Friday's luncheon.

Call for Session Proposals

Hey, everyone -- Get those brains busy and put fingers to keyboard!  The SIDLIT conference is scheduled for July 30-31 and we are looking for presentation proposals.   I’ll bet that some of you are reading this and thinking, “I would do this, but I don’t have anything to talk about or show.”   My response to that is, “Think again!”

Poster Abstracts - Symposium on Teaching

Poster abstracts for the Greater Kansas City Third Annual Symposium on Teaching are now available on the FaCET web-site at http://www.umkc.edu/provost/initiatives/FaCET/AbstractSubmissionsForApri.... The twenty-five posters represent a wide range of disciplines and illustrate ways we can combine our hard work as teachers with our ongoing commitment to research.

Symposium on Teaching and Learning

The online registration form for The Greater Kansas City Symposium on Teaching and Learning (as described below) is now available at http://www.umkc.edu/provost/initiatives/FaCET/sotl2009/sotlregis.aspx. For your convenience, this online registration form also includes links to the detailed program schedule and to two campus maps. Please complete and submit the form online, and then mail your check for $25.00 (for lunch, snacks, and materials) to UMKC as indicated in the form.

C2C Spring Forum

Mark your calendars – the C2C Spring Forum is a mere 8 days away – Friday, April 3rd! You can attend the Forum at any one of seven (count ‘em, 7!) videoconference sites: Emporia, Hays, Hutchinson, KC metro, Manhattan, Topeka, and Warrensburg.

We won’t ask you to register, but it might be helpful to the host sites to know how many are planning to show up, so consider sending them an e-mail as a warning. You can also get directions to the site from those wonderful folks, too.
